My challenge for you is to create a

SUMMER TAG

This tag has no limitations - you can create a large size tag, circle tag, any shape tag, as long as it looks like a SUMMER THEME!

Here are two samples to help the creative juices to flow:-

After you have completed your project, post it in the Colorful Creations Gallery and tag it

“RachSUMMERTAG”.

Your layout or project must be newly created as of July 20^th, and cannot be combined with any other CC challenges.

You have until Sunday July 29^th at midnight CST to complete challenges!

COLORFUL CREATIONS – DESIGN TEAM

Well another month has gone by very quickly and a lot has happened since the last time I posted.

I am very excited to announce I have been accepted as a DESIGN TEAM MEMBER at COLORFUL CREATIONS!  With the encouragement from my friend Fi, I decided to apply for Design Team call (back in June) and was delighted to hear I made the cut – Yeh!  Colorful Creations has been a lot of fun for me over the last 3 months and I have enjoyed the cyber atmosphere over there for a while now.  I am looking forward to being a part of a lovely group of people who love scrapbooking just as much as I do.

I would encourage anyone to play along at Colorful Creations as they have so many different challenges to try.  Since all the events are monthly challenges it gives you the chance to work on as many as you like within a reasonable time period.  Try your hand at sketches, recipes, tags, cards, colour combos and heaps more.  Since it is the first of the month I have my first EVENT CHALLENGE to post! Yeh!

My event is to create a RECIPE for a monthly challenge.  The page must include all “ingredients” of the following recipe:-

·         1 Border Punch

·         1 Stamp or Rub-on

·         3 Ribbons

·         5 Brads and/or gems

·         5-10 Flowers

·         Title and/or Journal

Here is my example:-

The border punch is the scalloped edge from my die-cut

My 3 ribbons are the floral coloured flowers on black background

I used a ‘leaf’ rub-on next to my photo

I have 10 flowers (including the flowers on my brads)

I have 2 brads & 3 gems on my flowers

And my title/journaling
